Crosswalk Safety Flags
The Cambrian Educational Foundation created the Crosswalk Safety Flag program to keep students and families safe as they walk or ride to and from their local schools in the Cambrian School District. After placing these high-visibility flags at the busiest intersections in our communities, we gave seen a reduction in students and families who have been hit by cars.
Thanks to our business and community sponsors, we are able to fund flags at the following intersections:
Foxworthy & New Jersey
Foxworthy & Leigh
Foxworthy & Ross
Curtner & New Jersey
Curtner & Leigh
Potrero & Leigh
Harris & Leigh
Harris & Bagby Elementary
Woodard & Twilight
We are seeking sponsors to allow us to add flags at the following intersections:
Union & Cambrianna
Thank you to our sponsors!

See a safety flag maintenance issue or need?
Report it here.
The Cambrian Educational Foundation’s volunteers do their best to regularly maintain the safety flags throughout the school year. You can report issues in person to your school’s Walk N Roll coordinator or use the form on this page.
For traffic violations, crossing guard questions, and other police non-emergency issues, please call 3-1-1 or visit https://311.sanjoseca.gov/ to report them.
The City of San Jose wants to keep our students safe on their commute to and from school. By reporting traffic issues to them, you help us get safety improvements made to the busiest and most most dangerous intersections. Thank you for your help and support.
